Find Parent Advocates is a directory. Independent advocates set their own fees. We also offer in-house advocacy at published rates. Neither path requires a retainer or a long-term contract.

  • Directory advocates

    Profiles often list starting rates between $75 and $150 per hour. Some offer flat fees for a meeting or document review. Compare rates on each profile and ask how billing works before you hire. We do not set directory prices or handle payments between you and an independent advocate.

  • In-house advocacy

    Work with our team at $100 per hour. Qualifying families can use Families First pricing at $75 per hour. You pay only for hours approved in advance. For example, a standard IEP cycle with 2 hours of prep and 2 hours at the meeting is about $400 at the standard rate.

  • Free to start with our team

    Families who work with our in-house advocates can book a free 30-minute consultation. New families who begin advocacy work with our team also receive a free IEP file review and written summary (typically about $200 if billed). Independent directory advocates set their own policies for free calls. Search and messaging on the directory remain free for everyone.

  • What we do not charge

    No referral fees. No commissions on advocate work. No monthly parent subscription to browse the directory. Medicaid and most insurance plans do not cover private parent advocates; that cost is usually out of pocket.
