This past month has been one of exciting growth and transformation at Find Parent Advocates. We've been listening closely to advocates and parents alike, and we've rolled out major updates designed to make connecting easier, services clearer, and support more accessible.

Advocate Premium Subscriptions: Now Free for 2025

We've removed Advocate Premium Subscriptions. For the remainder of 2025, advocates can list their profiles and services on Find Parent Advocates for free—no subscription, no card required.

Our goal is to build a strong, trusted community of family-focused advocates. Signing up is simple: create an account, apply to list, and start posting your services.

New: List Individual Advocacy Services

Advocates can now list specific services directly on the platform.

Our new Services feature allows advocates to:

  • Specify service details, pricing, and availability
  • Offer multiple language options and payment plans
  • Set up custom package tiers for each service

Simply sign up, create a profile, and start listing your services once verified.

Note

While advocates can indicate that they allow payment plans, all payments must still be handled directly between the advocate and the parent. Find Parent Advocates does not process or manage payments.

Leads, Analytics, and My Services

We've also launched a Leads page and an Analytics page for advocates.

Advocates can now:

  • View and manage parent inquiries in real time
  • Track service performance, including which package tiers are most popular
  • Use insights to refine pricing and offerings over time

The new My Services page gives advocates a clear overview of their current listings and ideas for additional services they may want to offer.

Pro Tip

Check your Analytics dashboard weekly to identify your most-viewed services and peak inquiry times. Use this data to optimize your availability and response times.

Guides for Parents

Our new Guides library is built for parents—and built differently.

Every guide is curated by experienced educators, compliance specialists, and former school and state agency staff. Instead of generalized information, parents get practical tools they can use, including:

  • Easy-to-understand explanations of IDEA and Section 504 topics
  • One-click email templates to customize and send
  • Weekly new releases to keep the library growing
Featured Guide

Start with our featured guide: Understanding IEP Contents. This guide is a great starting point for parents who want to understand the basics of IEPs and common red flags to look out for.

UI/UX Improvements

We've updated the design of several pages to make them easier to navigate, especially on mobile devices.

The following pages have been updated:

We hope these changes make it easier for parents to find the information they need and for advocates to connect with families.

Moving Forward Together

At Find Parent Advocates, we're committed to building a platform where parents can find clear, trustworthy support—and where advocates can build their practice with real, meaningful tools.

Instead of focusing on building their own websites, advocates can focus on refining and offering their services to families right away.

These updates reflect our commitment to making special education advocacy more accessible, transparent, and empowering for both parents and advocates.

Thank you for being part of this growing community.
